SOLVED Unofficial Events section, purpose?

So I've been wondering, why does an Unofficial Events section exist, if regular users can't seem to create any there? I'd be willing to create some every once in a while for GTA IV/The Lost And Damned (some with custom content), if I could actually create threads there.

You have to be a verified speaker to post unofficial events (even then you still have to get permission for every event from an admin). You have to become active for some time and you have to not be annoying to become one. Go to the D-section in these rules for more info.
